positivi.tv

This is an online collaborative tv channel I put together. It is just in it’s baby stages but something I have been thinking about for a long time. The idea is to have playlists of media bytes which contain a good message to humanity. It is all done on the Mogulus platform which enables you to put together a streaming channel of your favourite clips on the Youtube. The platform is intuitive and has some great features such as ticker tape with linkage and also allows you to go live. This channel is positivi.tv. It’s aim is to infotain. By sharing collections of media with a good message we can help to nurture a more equal society for the whole world. Teams can work in a collective environment to show the world what we deem to be important to us as human beings. Viewers can also chat live on top of the video to add to a truly interactive television channel. So, if you want to add to this please get in contact.

No Place Is Home (at Christmas)

This short documentary piece was made on Christmas Eve 2007 on the streets of Dublin. In it, we hear the stories of a number of homeless people and see the various ways people can end up out on the street. Thank you to the Dublin Simon Community for allowing me to film one of the soup runs. Almost a year later and I have edited this piece. It is rough and ready but I felt I needed to get this up before this Christmas to highlight the issue of homelessness. Now that we are in an economic downturn I hope we can be grateful for what we have and to help others less fortunate whenever we can. We are all only human afterall.

Halfset – Prairie

Here is the music video I made for the track “Prairie” from the new Halfset album “Another Way Of Being There”

The CD version of the album comes with an excellent DVD, which I produced, with a different artist interpreting each of the tracks. I made this one and two live videos shot out in RTE. Some of them are online.. check them out..
